Tour Dates for September 2025 entry

School Tours have taken place for both Nursery and Reception 2025 entry.

If you have recently moved to the area or were unable to attend one of our scheduled school tours, we would be happy to arrange an alternative time for you to visit the school.  Please contact Admissions directly either by email cciadmissions@leoacademytrust.co.uk or on 020 8337 4152. We look forward to welcoming you to Cheam Common Infants' Academy.

Starting Nursery

We take children the term after their third birthday, we offer September, January and April intake.  However, the nursery may fill up in the Autumn term. Therefore, if your child is eligible to start nursery in the Spring or Summer term, there will be no guarantee that places will be available. Your child may have to wait until the Autumn term to be considered for a vacancy.

Nursery 2025/2026

The deadline for receipt of applications for the academic year 2025/2026 was 15th January 2025 and the deadline has now passed.  We are still accepting applications however, applications received after 15th January 2025 will be deemed late and considered after all on time applications.

Reception 

We have 120 places in Reception. All children need to apply for a Reception place regardless of previous pre-school education. Offers of Reception places are sent directly by the local authority. Once you have confirmed your acceptance of the offer to the Local Authority, your details will be forwarded to the school. You will then be informed by the school as to your child’s starting date. Your child will have the opportunity to visit the school prior to starting.

In Year Applications

If you are about to move, or have recently moved  to the area, changing schools in-year or without a school and wish to apply for a place in one of our schools, you can apply to our Academy by following the guidance below. You should print the In-Year Admission Form available from the London Borough of Sutton website Mid-term or In-year admissions. The fully completed form should be returned to the London Borough of Sutton with copies of any requested information.
